UK roles: "organisation", "realise", "centre", "Yours sincerely". US roles: "organization", "realize", "center", "Sincerely". Do not mix — it signals sloppiness.

Translate Danish grade averages

Include equivalents. "GPA 11.2/12 on the Danish scale, equivalent to a UK First" or "approximately 3.9/4.0 on the US GPA scale". Otherwise your transcript is unreadable.

Address work authorisation up front

EU/EEA citizens: mention it early. Non-EU citizens applying to EU roles: state visa status clearly. Omitting this creates uncertainty and can lead to auto-rejection.

Do not translate Danish idioms literally

"I take it upon me" or "I have hands in the hair" are direct translations that make no sense in English. Have a native speaker proofread — or use Grammarly Premium.
